30 weeks 5 days pregnant

Chris caught a semi-candid shot of me cooking then we decided to do a full on profile shot. The baby has definitely been growing! I feel an almost constant presence of some part of the baby's body directly under my right rib. I get jabbed there quite often, sometimes it hurts and sometimes it just startles me.
I have been feeling pretty good still. The only thing lately that has been bothering me is my back, can you ever imagine why? Chris has been good about helping me as much as he can with the pain.
My doctors appointments have changed to every 2 weeks now, which is crazy! The time is drawing closer and closer, before we know it we will be holding our little one in our arms! Only 9 weeks left until my due date!

28 Weeks
Today I am 28 weeks pregnant, I can't tell you all how fast it is going! Last week I started my third trimester! At my last appointment on the second of October I was quite surprised when I stepped on the scale and learned that I had gained 8 lbs in the passed 4 weeks, I was shocked! My total weight at that point was 23 lbs. I had in my mind that was about how much I would gain in my whole pregnancy! My doctor said she was not concerned but recommended that I walk more if I was concerned. I have yet to make a habit of it.
The baby has been moving like crazy, sometimes I wonder if he/she ever sleeps! The movements have become increasingly stronger and more spread out. I've been getting kicked in the ribs and all over my abdomen. I've even been able to see our little one moving around, that's the coolest part! Chris has recently been feeling and seeing the movements more often and gets really excited, I love it. For a while there it seemed like every time he went to feel the baby moving the little one would stop. Chris joked that it was because the baby felt his fatherly authority.
I am still feeling good and am enjoying my pregnancy. Praise the Lord for his grace!

25 Weeks Pregnant
Well the baby is obviously getting bigger! This picture was taken at 25 weeks, 7 weeks after the last pregnancy picture. I think we should be a little more diligent, sorry everyone:-).I've been gaining weight rapidly it seems. At this point I had gained about 20lbs. It's all worth it in the end, I'm just trying not to gain too much, it's not as easy as I thought though!

Last Night
I've been feeling the baby kicking more and more, and they have been getting a lot stronger. Last night the kicks were pretty strong so I told Chris to put his hand on my belly and see if he could feel it. There was a really strong kick and Chris felt the baby for the first time! He jumped back and said, "Whoa! That was crazy!" With a tear in his eyes. He said he was half excited and half freaked out. It was really neat for both of us, praise the Lord for this amazing life he's given us!

18 weeks pregnant
Here's the first belly picture we've taken. I'm getting bigger every day it seems! This last week (from 18 weeks on) I started feeling the baby moving! At first I wasn't sure if what I was feeling was the baby, but a few days into it I was sure it was. It feels kind of like a gas bubble, but different because it's in different places. Now it's starting to feel more like kicks than just subtle grazes. At one minute I'll feel a few kicks on one side of my tummy, than a few minutes later I will feel one on the other side. We definitely have a mover, just like Daddy!I've been getting more energy lately and haven't felt sick for a while now, praise the Lord! Food almost always sounds good, I love to eat! Everything seems to be going really well. It is such a blessing to carry life inside me, so amazing!
17 weeks 5 days baby picture
On August 7th we got to have an ultra sound and got a more recent picture of the baby! Chris has gone with me to every appointment so far which has been so great. At this appointment we weren't expecting to get an ultra sound, so we were really excited. As you all may know, we aren't going to find out what the baby's gender is until he or she is born. So, Chris made sure our doctor knew that as we were having the ultra sound. In the middle of the ultra sound our doctor said, "Oh I know what you're having!" I wanted to know so badly and kept begging Chris the rest of the appointment, but he didn't give in. I pouted for a little while, but I got over it. It was so neat to see our little one so much bigger than the last time. The part that was the best was seeing the little face looking up at us. We saw the eyes and little nose, the heart beating and all the movements (he or she is an active one). I have another appointment on this Friday the 17th for all the measurements of baby so I will post more pictures from that ultrasound when I get them.

Baby's first picture & updates about pregnancy
We had our first ultrasound on June 12th! Our little one was moving hands and feet, was turning a little. We got to hear the heart beat, that was really neat! I think it really made it real for both of us. Chris wants to own an ultrasound machine so he can see our little one moving all the time. Before we know it we will, Lord willing, be able to hold our little bundle of joy and gaze at him or her as much as we want! Praise the Lord for this amazing blessing of pregnancy! We found out that we were pregnant on May 7th. Since then, it has been a whole new experience for both of us! I have been more tired than ever. Morning sickness showed up right on schedule, and out of nowhere for me. I really wished for about a week that I didn't have to eat for the rest of my life! Nothing ever sounded good to eat, and I was starving, and so the story goes. Chris did a great job of tending to my every need, even if it meant running out to get whatever sorta sounded ok to eat at that very moment. I'm glad that phase is pretty much over now.
I am currently 12 weeks along. Food is sounding much better now and I am getting more energy here and there. Fruit appeals to me the most as well as anything sweet:). I have a hard time getting my protein in, it seems that the baby like carbs, at least for now. I've noticed my tummy getting bigger, it's not completely obvious yet to everyone else, but I can tell, and so can Chris. We even bought a couple of maternity items already. We have another appointment in 2 weeks. We will keep you all updated!
Love, the Morloks
