Washington

We just took a trip to Washinton so that I could be in my friend Bethany's wedding. Our friends, Steve & Jessica (& P.J.) Mulkey were gracious enough to let us stay at their house while we were up there, we had a lot of fun! This was Karsten's first plane ride, so I was a little nervous about it, but he did surprisingly well for 3 months old, epecially on the way there.
So while we were up there it snowed, which was very cool. The Mulkeys said it's actually pretty rare for it so snow up there, so it was quite special for us to be there.
We were busy with wedding stuff the first couple days, but Saturday we got to hang out with Steve & Jessica & they took us on a little tour of Seattle. We went to Pike's Place and drove around to look at sites.
P.J. loved Karsten! He just wanted to know where he was at all times. He's a little over a year old, such a cutie. He kept wanting to touch Karsten's face and give him kisses and hugs, I think he's ready for a sibbling:) So here are some photos to update our trip. Thanks again Mulkeys!
Karsten's latest

Karsten has been getting so big and he's so much fun! This is a picture right before bathtime, such cute little buns. He started laughing recently, to be exact it was Sunday April 13, 2008. We have been having fun experimenting with what makes him giggle. So far he has responded to peek-a-boo, and mommy using a high pitch voice to talk to him, very cute! Hopefully we will be able to catch it on the video camera soon. Lately, he has started to suck his bottom lip. Also he has started to hold on to his bottle when we give him one. The picture above is one we caught of him resting the bottle on his hands, but the other day daddy was giving him a bottle and he had a grasp on it and was holding it all by himself, Daddy had to pull it out of his hands when he was done b/c he still had a grasp on it. He's so fun and we are enjoying every minute of being parents!
